Chinese smartphone brand iQOO has revealed its plan to launch the Neo 9 Pro smartphone in India on February 22. In anticipation of the release, the company announced that the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will be accessible on Amazon India and the iQOO e-store, available in two configurations: 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM, both offering 256GB of onboard storage.
The Neo 9 Pro is expected to introduce enhancements across various aspects, including performance, design, and imaging, according to an official statement. Interestingly, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro is set to succeed the Neo 7 Pro, bypassing the Neo 8 series.
In preparation for the India launch, iQOO has disclosed specific specifications about the upcoming Neo 9 Pro smartphone. The device will be offered in Fiery Red and Conqueror Black colors. The black variant displays a single-tone back panel, while the Fiery Red variant features a dual-tone back panel with a leather finish.
Regarding specifications, the company confirmed that the Neo 9 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Additionally, the performance-oriented smartphone will incorporate iQOO’s supercomputing Q1 chip, enabling the display to deliver up to 144 frames-per-second and a super resolution mode of up to 900 pixels for gaming.
The device will also support Motion Estimation-Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology, enhancing video content on streaming platforms like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video through frame interpolation. Imaging capabilities will be handled by a dual-camera setup on the back, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor (Sony IMX920).
