OnePlus is scheduled to unveil the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones in India on January 23, with confirmation that these devices will be available for purchase on Amazon.
The specifications of both devices have been revealed, as they have already been launched in China. Ahead of the official launch, tipster Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter) has disclosed the pricing and sale date for the OnePlus 12.
According to Abhishek's information, the OnePlus 12's price in India will start at Rs 64,999 for the base model with 12GB of RAM. The variant with 16GB of RAM is rumored to be priced at Rs 69,999. The sale of the OnePlus 12 is expected to begin on January 30, while the OnePlus 12R is anticipated to be available for purchase in India in February, as per the tipster.
The OnePlus 12 in India is likely to offer the same specifications as the Chinese model. To recap, the OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, it is paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The device also boasts a 50MP triple-camera setup, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Regarding the OnePlus 12R, it is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, which debuted in China earlier this month. The OnePlus 12R is speculated to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of internal storage, a 50MP triple-camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In addition to the OnePlus 12 series, OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus Buds 3. These earbuds, introduced alongside the OnePlus Ace 3, boast a 10.4mm driver, an in-ear stem design, 49dB ANC support, an IP55 rating, AAC and SBC codec support, and 6.5 hours of battery life.
