Infinix 40i Launched in India at Price of Rs. 9999

The Infinix Hot 40i made its debut in India on February 16, following its earlier unveiling in Saudi Arabia. This smartphone boasts an octa-core Unisoc chipset and a robust 5,000mAh battery.

Notably, it offers a dual rear camera setup with AI capabilities and claims to feature the first-ever 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor in its segment. Scheduled for release later this month, the device will be available in four striking color options.

Pricing and Availability

The Infinix Hot 40i comes in Horizon Gold, Palm Blue, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green color variants. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 8,999, inclusive of bank offers, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is listed at Rs. 9,999 on Flipkart. Sales commence on February 21.

Featuring a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 480nits peak brightness, the Infinix Hot 40i delivers an immersive viewing experience with an 89.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. 

It runs on an octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset coupled with a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM, expandable virtually up to 16GB. The device runs on Android 13-based XOS 13.0.

In the camera department, the Infinix Hot 40i boasts a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an AI-powered secondary sensor, complemented by a Quad-LED Ring flash. For selfies, it features a 32-megapixel front camera with dual flash.

The device introduces the Magic Ring feature, encircling the centered hole-punch selfie camera akin to Apple's Dynamic Island. This collapsible tab displays call, message notifications, and other essential alerts conveniently.

Powering the device is a hefty 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired fast charging. It offers up to 256GB of onboard storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS, FM, and NFC.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance. With dimensions of 163.59mm x 75.5mm x 8.30mm and a weight of 190g, the Infinix Hot 40i promises a sleek and durable design.
