Today, Nothing made several announcements, with the highlight being the official unveiling of its next smartphone, named Phone 2a. Positioned as a response to, or at least an equivalent of, the OnePlus Nord lineup, particularly the core edition models, the Phone 2a aims to provide an optimal daily smartphone experience.
Nothing emphasized its commitment to core user needs and expertise in crafting this upcoming device. While details on hardware and design are still under wraps, the Phone 2a is codenamed Aerodactyl and is expected to launch around the Mobile World Congress in late February.
Rumors circulating online have suggested a redesigned chassis and a speculated price tag of under Euro 400 for a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, translating to around Rs 40,000 in INR.
As the potential entry point to the Nothing brandwagon, the Phone 2a may feature a reported 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip, and a 50-megapixel main camera, combined with Nothing’s distinct "think different" design.
Additionally, Nothing's CMF spin-off is set to introduce more affordable products, including the CMF Buds and CMF Neckband Pro, both confirmed for launch in India along with the Phone 2a.
