OnePlus has introduced a special Genshin Impact Edition of its OnePlus 12R smartphone, unveiling it at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. This edition, inspired by the popular mobile game from miHoYo, incorporates various design alterations and UI enhancements.
Scheduled for release next month in India and other global markets, the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact edition carries a price tag of ₹49,999 for the 16GB RAM/256GB storage variant. Comparatively, the standard OnePlus 12R is priced at ₹45,999 for the same RAM and storage configurations, with the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant priced at ₹39,999.
Sales for the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition are set to commence on March 19, available for purchase on Amazon, OnePlus.in, and select OnePlus Experience Stores. Buyers can benefit from a ₹1,000 discount using the OneCard, along with a ₹3,000 exchange bonus.
Distinctive design elements characterize this edition, drawing inspiration from the character Keqing. It comes in a unique 'Electro Violet' color variant, featuring Keqing's name inscribed at the bottom.
Additionally, the smartphone is packaged in a collectible gift box, accompanied by a special Keqing-themed case, a customized charging cable and adapter, and a distinctive Lighting Stiletto design on the SIM tray.
UI changes are also notable, including a special charging animation, live wallpaper, and Always On Display elements.
Hardware specifications mirror those of the standard OnePlus 12R, boasting a 6.78-inch AMOLED ProXDR display with LTPO4.0 support and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
Graphics-intensive tasks are handled by the Adreno 740 GPU, while a sizable 5,500mAh battery ensures prolonged usage, supporting fast charging via the included 100W SUPERVOOC charger.
