OnePlus, the prominent Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has been making waves in the tech sphere, particularly with the recent debut of its flagship 12 series in the Indian market. Now, the company is stirring up anticipation with teasers for a new smartwatch via its official X account (formerly Twitter).
The teased product is speculated to be named the OnePlus Watch 2, serving as the successor to the original OnePlus Watch released in 2021. Surprisingly, the company has unveiled this upcoming smartwatch less than a month after launching its flagship 12 series in India on January 23, 2024.

While the company has yet to officially confirm the name of the upcoming device, speculations suggest it may be dubbed the OnePlus Watch 2. The teaser image showcased on X hints at a round display, accompanied by two buttons positioned on the left side.
According to renowned tipster Max Jambor, the OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to make its debut on February 26 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
Furthermore, another report has surfaced indicating that the forthcoming smartwatch will sport a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, powered by a 402 mAh battery, and will operate on WearOS. Additionally, the smartwatch is anticipated to boast IP68 water and dust resistance certification, ensuring durability and reliability.
