Vivo introduced the X100 Pro on January 4, 2024, positioning it in the premium smartphone category in India with impressive specifications. Focused on delivering top-notch camera performance, the smartphone utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and boasts a 50 MP ZEISS sensor for high-quality images.

In a camera assessment by Dxomark, the Vivo X100 Pro achieved a Gold tier rating, primarily attributed to the outstanding light collection capabilities of its 1/0.98 Sony IMX 989 sensor in the main camera module.

The device features a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera, contributing to its comprehensive camera setup.

Scoring 116 in photo, 119 in bokeh, 119 in preview, 118 in zoom, and 119 in video, the Vivo X100 Pro attained an overall score of 86. The smartphone supports video recording in 8K, 4K at 60/30fps, and 1080p at 60/30fps.

In Dxomark's global ranking, the Vivo X100 Pro secured the 8th position, tying with the Oppo Find X6, outperforming the Google Pixel 8 (ranked 11) with a score of 150. The top positions were held by the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ (157), Huawei P60 Pro (156), iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro (154), and the Google Pixel 8 Pro (153). The choice between the Vivo X100 Pro and the Google Pixel 8 depends on user preferences and priorities, as both devices exhibit strong camera performance.
